Answers about quotes, loading, timings, skips, waste types and the areas we cover.
Skip alternative
What's the main difference between skip hire and waste removal?
With a skip, you hire a container, fill it yourself and wait for it to be collected. With KZ, our team turns up, does all the lifting and loading, and takes everything away in one visit.
Which option is cheaper, skip hire or waste removal?
It depends on how much waste there is and what it is. Send us photos and we will give you a clear price, so you can compare it properly with a skip quote.
Do I need a permit for skip hire?
If a skip has to go on a public road, you usually need a permit from your local council. Our collections need no permit, because nothing is left on the road or your drive.
Which option is best if I don't want to do any lifting?
Waste removal. With a skip, the loading is down to you. With KZ, we do all the carrying and loading.
Can waste removal collect the same waste as a skip?
For most household, garden, furniture and builders' waste, yes. Hazardous items such as asbestos, chemicals, paint, oils and gas bottles must be checked with us first, and some of them we cannot take.
Quotes, booking and areas
How do I get a quote?
Fill in the quote form or send us a WhatsApp with photos of what needs to go and your postcode. For bigger jobs, a few photos from different angles help us give you an accurate price.
Do I need to move everything outside first?
No. Loading is part of the job, so our team carries everything out and loads it for you. Just tell us about stairs, lifts or tight access when you get in touch.
Can you collect on the same day?
Same day and next day collections are generally available. It depends on the size of the job, where you are and how busy that day is, so send your photos early.
Which areas do you cover?
Berkshire, Hampshire and surrounding areas across the South East. Use the postcode checker or send us your postcode and we will confirm.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. KZ Disposal is fully licensed and insured and is a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency. Our registration number is shown at the bottom of every page.
What happens to my waste?
We take waste to licensed sites and recycle what we can. Items in good condition can sometimes be reused rather than thrown away.
